Morryde Pinbox with Pullrite or Demco Hijacker Hitch

For those using a Pullrite Superglide or Demco Hijacker hitch with their respective capture plate, does the capture plate immobilize the Morryde anti-chucking feature, thus rendering it useless? I've looked at the installation guides for both plates and it sure looks like I'd have to install nylon blocks that "jam" or prevent movement in the pinbox.

  • Okay, thanks for the replies. I was getting ready to order one of those two auto sliders and I certainly didn't want to give up the Morryde advanyage.
  • The blocks keep the side to side movement contained, but the dampening for chucking fore and aft is still maintained. I had a Superglide and MorRyde setup when I had a dually.
  • I have a Pullrite Superglide and a Mor-Ryde pin. The install of the capture plate includes nylon blocks that prevent rotational movement of the Mor-Ryde rubber mechanism, but not fore and aft movement.
