Most reliable connector. semi 7 pin or RV blade ?

Iv been researching connectors because I'm not satisfied with my plastic hopkins connector. I'm sure the standard 7 blade design works fine, while having it's limitations as any. But I'm not a fan of...

This is what I did...drilled a hole in my bumper and moved the standard (plastic/nylon 7 pin that came original with my truck. It's never given me a bit of trouble..
