Hey thanks for the info guys.. Discussion is always good and food for thought. But I doubt I will buy another Hopkins. I guess if my hopkins lasts I might.. Oh, did I just admit I was going to use my plastic Hopkins connectors?
I worked out a temporary install without ruining my bumper. anyway
I guess I'm just oldschool even though I haven't retired..
I don't like exterior parts made from plastic. Especially critical parts.
Then again. The industry will flood the market with a new connector which "we all must have" and most of the 7 blade connectors will end up in the land fill like the 5 and 6 pins.
