That right there is one major reason I have one.. I have used battery sensor lights over the door of my camper for years. It is adjusted down to light the area right outside my door. Plus, at the very least, if someone IS at your door, they are less likely to attempt something when bathed in light than in the darkness of night. In fact, I've seen WAY more awning lights, neon palm trees, etc. in campgrounds that bug me than sensor lights glaring onto other rigs. I believe hey are a good idea.
I will try the Starlight 1000, or one like it that is direction adjustable,
soon also.

Exactly!
I read some reviews on the SL off youtube they dont handle the sun well, I read MG1000 is newer and better made. Still trying to figure it out.
