OP, You left out their cousin the rat. A rat climbed on board at a military campground in Flagstaff, AZ. Tried spring traps, glue traps and electronic and none of these worked.
He was a very educated rat and avoided the big rat trap so clearly he could read the "Rat Trap" writing. Finally caught him with a cage trap in Denver, CO. Since he was a military rat I let him go for the fine digs in Denver.
Leaving for Flagstaff again and have on board the trap and a new CAT that loves anything that moves.
