Mouse, Mice, Meese, Mousies and more

It's Mouse season, what has been your most effective way to keep them out of your RV? We have tried it all with no luck, they built a really nice nest under our bed with Mouse Magic and dryer sheets. Have had fair luck in the past using lots of moth balls but wife couldn't stand the mothball smell. Have sealed every possible entry point I can find.
Trapped 6 with good old fashioned spring mouse traps, all inside the RV. OK, lets hear what does and does not work for you.

How does a filter deter mice? I have a charcoal one for my truck and do not have mice, but never thought it would deter them.
  • There was another recent thread on this where they recommended Cab Fresh. I got some and it works well. I put it in the garage an the RV. It has a strong but not totally unpleasant smell (unless you're a rodent).

We like to keep a bag with fresh cotton balls soaked in REAL PEPPERMINT OIL. I get mine from Amazon and around here only the Wegmans carry the pure stuff... Only the pure Peppermint Oil would work for us...

I was playing around with different ways to catch a mouse and saw this online. I tried it and it worked...

Had one in the trash box eating peanut butter one morning hehe...

I promptly carried the mouse out to the edge of the woods and let it out. It probably beat me back to the fifth wheel haha...
