Music in campground until 4:30 AM !!!!

Glad you were not parked near me. I keep a small hatchet with a fiberglass handle in my truck. One quick chop of the cord solves the problem. he he he.

I have remote controlled slideouts and awning. I have kept the fob in my pocket while setting up. There have been several times when I have heard screams from my DW inside the campe,r due to the slides retracting as I'm bending over tending to one chore or another. ooops!

The key fob got me laughing. When my wife has hers in her pocket. The horn is always going off on the car. She thought the fob was just touchy so we switched fobs with each other. Nope not it. Of course then she is always losing hers for a day or more, but that's another story.

As for radios on outside. Oh yeah. One neighbor had his old time country western on. You know the ones. Play it backwards and his truck starts, the dog comes back, or is that his woman? Anyway had that one loud for several hours. You know I have my own radio I don't need to hear yours. I went outside. He is inside his RV, knock on the door ask if he can turn it down. Oh he didn't even know it was on. :R He will shut it off. Outdoor TVs too. I have seen several motorhomes this summer with outside TVs built in. Seriously? I have my own TV, in my RV, don't need to hear yours.

All I'm asking is for a little consideration. :)

I was standing with a ferllow camper, talking to him. I happened to glance over at his rig and his dog was inside going crazy, wanting to know why his master wasn't paying attention to him. We talked for a few minutes more and all of a sudden we heard the horn on his rig honking. We looked over and his pooch was over there, standing in the driver's seat bouncing his front feet on the horn. The guy turned to me and said, "Well, I guess tat it is time for me to get back to my rig before he starts it up!"

I had the outside stereo on earlier with music and kiddo decided to watch Dora the Explorer on tv and I kept cranking it up since the volume seemed so low/faint inside the camper. had it WAY up when the neighbor knocked on the door and I opened and WHAM, heard Dora full volume outside. funny and embarrassing.

these were fun posts to read. sometimes we all get caught in a crazy situation!

I had this happen also, luckily we noticed it when walking the dog. I never use the outdoor speakers, I would rather sit reading and listening to nature. I pulled the radio out and unplugged the leads that go to the outdoor speakers. I know I could just turn them off, but if you loose all power, both 110 and 12, they come on by default.

I had it done to me. I was in a campground in Draper Ut getting ready to leave and some DA in the camping site in front of us starts blowing a REALLY loud horn. I was busy and didn't even look up to see who the DA was. I walked around my truck and here is that horn again! This time I do look an it was a Scotty dog laying on the horn. I look at him and I swear he was trying to say, "does that annoy you?" "Good, let me do it some more!!!!!" The owner grabbed him by the scruff shortly after and put him away.
