Came standard with a back up camera and although she doesn't pick the vehicle up until tomorrow she was very happy with that being part of the package. And, yes it has the macerator pump. Not sure about the ground clearance issue.

She has experience van driving because she used to work at a handicapped school that required her to get her Class B license and drive the kids around in a van.

That carried on into the 80s as well. I went to many a van fest as a teenager. Can anybody remember the mantra?

Owned an earlier model for 5+ years. Loved it!! There are some groups and forums (rv.net has a good one) for Class B's. Roadtrek International is one. We got it mostly for long weekends but took some extended trips with it and it served us well. There are some who are full timing in them, but, I think that takes a lot of patience and a willingness to sacrifice more than my tolerance would allow. Sold ours and bought a 5er when we decided to prepare for full timing.

Anyway, it is a great camper and she should enjoy it.

Due to the size of the Roadtrek being that of a tall van, parking is usually not an issue. Know of many single woman who love to travel with them. I hope your sister enjoys hers for many years.

I asked her about that and she said she checked into it. First she is in the unincorporated part of the county so she doesn't have to live under city ordinances. Second, she says it will fit in her garage. She has to have a taller door installed but the garage is tall enough she just has to hire someone to put in a bigger door.

Back in the 70's, we had a VW van. We removed the middle seat and built a platform level with the back seat. We slept on top of that shelf+back seat cushion with an air mattress and a two-person sleeping bag. We made big drawers that slid under the platform to carry stuff.

We had some great times in our jury-rigged camper :C
