Nationwide requirement for CDL when driving/towing over 10k?

Heard a rumor today from an RV dealer that legislation is coming that will require a CDL (Nationwide) when driving or towing anything over 10,000 lbs. Seems like just a rumor to me but don't put anyth...

Don't know about any federal law but many states now have a special cdl requirement for RVs. Class A written & road test with no medical for trailers over 10000 & class B written & road test & no medical for MH over 26000. I suspect within a few years all states will conform to these requirements.
