Nationwide requirement for CDL when driving/towing over 10k?

Heard a rumor today from an RV dealer that legislation is coming that will require a CDL (Nationwide) when driving or towing anything over 10,000 lbs. Seems like just a rumor to me but don't put anyth...

You are correct Dave.

You don't need a CDL to drive your motorhome.

However because your motorhome has a GVW rating of 22,000 lbs,
you need a Class C Driver's License to legally drive it.
