need a good cabinet cleaner

What's a good cleaner for the fake wood cabinets that will give them a shine but not leave a film that might hold dust??

I think I have some of that in wife's car...I'll try it in some inconspicuous spot...I just dont want something to wrinkle it up or loosen it.

  • Fels Naptha is another good cleaner- particularly for grease and smoke. Works well on the vinyl "wood" paneling, and is the only thing to use on older Airstreams, on the vinyl clad aluminum.
  • Believe it or not, I use Mother's car wax - it works well on our fake wood fridge door as well as on the real wood cabinets.
  • Clean with Windex and once dry, treat with Armorall Original. Products like Murphys or Beeswax Oil are intended for wood, and we're talking vinyl over pressed wood here I'd wager.
