Need a Replacement, My 7"x 7" Post is Deteriorating

When we bought our first camper, what seems so many years ago, it came with the purchase an old 7x7 post for the jack stand, as to eliminate the distance from the ground to Jack. I'm sure you get it....

stop at a house that sells campfire wood by the roadside, and buy a complete round from them (unsplit)

how much distance we talkin about here? unless i'm on a crazy unlevel spot, there's only 4-5 inches between the ground and my jack foot... i guess my trailer is very low slung - makes it fun to go up a steep approach to gas stations and what not.
