Need a Replacement, My 7"x 7" Post is Deteriorating

We came across an old piece of 4x8 that came from an old boat dock, pretty beat up but it works. Tried some Lynx levels once since we did not have our block and they actually bent under the weight. Check a lumber yard or construction site for a nice piece of scrap wood.
