But the vintage ones, are enclosed, and the one i replaced (identical model) used every day, never caused any sign of damage, i took a good look when i took the old one down and but in the replacement
we really do prefer the old design
it took months of watching ebay before this one came up
That's good to know about the new design B+D. I have no need for either one myself. Our $12 Mr. Coffee 12-cup drip maker works great, even when we have no shore or generator power available, and we're not that cramped for counter space. We just slide it to the back when not using it. I'm glad you were able to find the one you wanted though!
