Having worked in construction
I can say dragging extension cords around in the mud, is not fun
roll them out, pick them up, tripping circuit breakers, tangled cords, snagging cords, which come unplugged
If I had been using cordless tools, it would have been easier
And I worked on large sites, where you might have two or three extensions cords strung together in series to reach the building, then branch off to smaller cords for each crew member and tool..
Swapping batteries would have been a piece of cake compared to some of the jobs I worked on dragging cords around
Off course that was 40+ years ago
Any way I don't think this Makita coffee maker is marketed at us RV folks, this is an add on for those guys with a truck load of cordless tools, working late, he can make a cup of Joe, while on the phone, without leaving the job site to go to Starbucks for a $5 fix
