when it comes to your comment it may be true for you and maybe most, but it is not so for many others including myself…
C2C requires an investment in a home park… that was a good thing in my case and the one single thing that saved me thousands of dollars over many years… there are different types of home parks from deeded ownership, shareholder ownership, to a timeshare style… all of these work for some people…
the C2C membership was separate from a home park membership… it was often included with the home park membership, but was never expensive the years I belonged… it to, saved my thousands of dollars, in amounts that PA or other discount programs couldn’t even hold a candle to…
I have also owned private CG memberships that in some cases could have doubled as my home park… having 2 of these in south FL… allowed me to winter in FL for 6 months for under $1000 a year… and C2C allowed me to diversify my stays in other parts of FL at low cost for 2 weeks at a time…
While things have changed and membership parks have declined in number they can still be a good option…
The one single thing that ruined or is ruining reciprocal camping like C2C are the unscrupulous membership resale brokers you read about and many here have recommended…
