7,406 trailer w/o stuff (propane, battery, betcha no spare either) will have the
tongue weight more than the brochure #933....as most brochure weights are from
the stripper (curb for the TV and dry for the trailer)
Figure 12% or more of the trailer weight will be the actual tongue weight
Another is the TV's rear GAWR...another betcha it is in the +4K to maybe +5K range
Again, look at the diagram and the center point vs where the weight from the
Fiver/Tongue will be. Most of it on the rear axle center line on a fiver and way
behind that on a tongued trailer
Your post represents the vast majority of folks who own a half ton or want to
keep in the half ton because of DD/MPG and the biggie...ride quality. Heavens, it
is a truck, not a car...
Why said first decide if you believe in the ratings or not.
Then weigh it and the whole setup "axle by axle"
