Bumpy..... I would assume (yeah, I know where that can get me) assume that by having a front and driver camera operating in case of an accident, it could prove or better serve to prove that your attention was not being split between driving and a cellphone and also exactly why the accident happened.
Of course this is good if your not at fault, but not so good if you happened to be at fault :)
In todays sue the hell out of everybody for everything, I'm betting that soon you will find yourself getting a cheaper insurance rate if you have a dash cam operating in your vehicle. And you will see them as standard equipment on new cars soon.
