New Jeep Renagade not flat towable

I had been watching the development of this Fiat based little jeep, and noticing that several Fiat were 4 down towable, had hoped that the new Renegade would be as well. Today I found that the driver's manual says "no" for all of them, manual transmission included.
I was disappointed, it had been on my short list to replace my CRV (since Honda has made the CRV none -towable as well).
Now I waiting to see about the new Honda HR-V. It being Fit based I am again hopeful.
