Very interested in this discussion because I'm considering making the jump from my EAZ Lift to Reese or Blue Ox. Every picture I've seen of the Blue Ox shows the bars as really bent, though. Is that normal? I've currently got 1400 lb bars, but thinking about upsizing because I'm not getting down to the recommended measurement on the front axle on this truck and I'm at 8 washers.
My neighbor has a Blue Ox and one of his bars "is" bent!
I still don`t see how it can control any sway? I know how they "claim" it does, but the design certainly doesn`t have any "sway control" built in! And if they are talking about where the bars pivot in the head, then they are kidding themselves and their customers! There is no way that it can control sway on a trailer, especially when you go into the heavier trailers!
