First, structural tire failures in the winter months are almost non-existent. The last month where you might see a few is October. They start up again in May.
So, yes, I made that prediction in October of 2019 after the season was over. Nothing magical. Just the facts.
Much the same when hoopla when Goodyear redesigned the old Marathons in the early '00s. The new and improved Marathon came out with a circle 6 stamped on the tire.
The first couple of years Marathon owners and users crowed how great they were. Granted they were a vast improvement over the old ones.....but after 3-5 years tire complaints started pouring in.
The Endurance looks like a automotive tire now and doesn't have that rounded sidewall/rounded tread profile that IMO from my experience is not the best idea for a load carrying tire on a trailer.
The Endurance physically looks like big improvement....time and miles of actual service rolling down the road will show Goodyear made a better ST class tire.
