hi,we just bought our camper,and i've been reading about having to maintain the roof ..will it be possible to walk on the camper roof,or will i need to get a 13ft step ladder? i appreciate any help ..thx :)

- A lot will depend on the RV you have.....does it have a ladder mounted to the rear of the camper? If it has a ladder, it's probably designed to support your weight (unless you are 500 lbs!)
Still, I would recommend using your own ladder, and work your way down the side of the RV cleaning as you go. You may also find one of those extension handle brushes works well for you.
You don't need a step ladder....one of those fold-up ladders would work fine, just leaning it against the RV.
If your RV is an older model, that you bought used, you may not know just how well it was maintained, so I'd recommend against walking ont he roof. Even a slight leak can really deteriorate the cross beams, over time, and it would really ruin your RVing experience if you put your foot through the roof:(
