I've been looking at other tow vehicles. Excursions and 3/4 Burbans. Nothing nice at a good price. Even considered vans. I thought perhaps a class a would negate the need for a new tv and we would be more comfortable while driving. My 6 y/o I would just strap in the bathroom ;).
That's why we went with a motorhome, didn't want to replace my pickup with one heavy enough to tow a good size trailer. Price of that and the trailer would have been a lot more than the motorhome. We had a car that can be towed 4 down behind the motorhome, had to buy a towbar, base plate, wiring. Like I said, we prefer traveling in the motorhome but to each is own. Once you get where you're going there's not much difference.
