the climate will change. i do hope it doesn't warm up to the level it was when the vikings settled greenland and northeastern america. settlements spread throughout the world. then when the little ice age hit. well we all know what happened.
the planet has been in a warming cycle since the little ice age. we will see changes.
we've had reports of tropical plants being found at the south pole... how warm was it then...
we also have had over a mile of ice across northern america and europe..
so yes the climate will change, taxing people or regulating them to death won't make a difference. we can't control the orbit of the planets or the heat the sun emits.
