I doubt this thread will survive long, but anyway:
I don't recall many folks denying that the Northwest was in drought conditions within the past year, Gary. Where did you hear that?
And likewise, nobody is denying that we are in a phase of warming up, certainly in Western North America. What we differ on is the likely effectiveness of the proposed solutions, most of which are based on computer projections if not sheer guesswork, and have been shown to be wrong in the past. And somehow they always seem to involve curtailing growth and standards of living.
