It's been just over a year since we have had our Scamp out camping. Still planning on finally getting on the road, Tuesday.
Things just kept coming up & it hasn't been used.
I'm going to see if we can't find time to use it more this fall for sure. Maybe this winter as well. But I said that last year as well. Ha!
But our rig isn't such a large investment as yours was. It is also all paid for. The tags are permanent on the TT & it is still not to costly to own a vehicle out here (tags & insurance).
If you start wanting to see a campground again. Tents are pretty neat these days. And there is always Camping Cabins.
We stayed in our first camping cabin in Alaska this summer:

It was about 100 yrs. old. Woodcutter Log Cabin was built elsewhere & moved to the RV park a few years ago. New interior. Bed a little hard, no water but had electric. It came with bedding & towels. Like a hotel room. But one had to walk to a restroom/shower house.
They had newer ones & large ones, some with showers, etc. We just needed an overnight spot. Worked OK.
Another option (which I often use) is to live vicariously through others' Blogs. http://www.hitchitch.com/links.html
Take care & Happy Jeeping.
:B That new 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4 should make a very fine tow vehicle for a small bumper pull trailer.
