Look for this to be the precursor to other changes in enforcement of current laws such as the DL classifications needed for RV's and those pulling trailers over 10K.. It's all going to be in the same database now..
Personally I have no problem with this, the fees are the same as before with the exception that the inspection station is no longer responsible for collecting and remitting the state's portion.
Along the same note... I've never NOT had my trailers inspected and can't fathom blatantly breaking the law like some folks freely admit to on these threads.. Why risk a $125-$175 ticket for an hour of your time and a total of $14.50
