We were in a CG in Upper NY,,,,,,,,beautiful area but the site was a bit of a pain to get into due to trees, angle of site and narrow road.
I got our 5vr backed in and had just finished unhooking/leveling and was doing electric/water when a 35' or so MH pulled up to site next to us.
Finished up with my electrical/water just about time they were making first attempt at backing into site. Back & forth, back & forth.....tension mounting/voices straining.
So I asked spotter if she would like another set of eyes.......a loud voice booms out of drivers window "I drove buses for a living....we can handle it!"
So I went about putting awning out and setting up camp chairs. My sweetie had finished up inside and came out with our traditional 'welcome home' cocktail and watched the 'entertainment'--------better than a boat ramp on busy weekend.
Back & forth....scrape rear drivers side on tree..back & forth scrape front drivers side on large rock....back & forth scrape rear drivers side on tree repeat one more time.
Then spotter comes over and says "She would appreciate if you would spot this side, IF you wouldn't mind?" :S
Never did see driver that whole week...........spotter waved a couple times but no real friendly camp site chatter.
