I get what you are saying but have seen people help who had no clue. Ended up putting someone in the middle of a site, away from hook ups and too close on the other side to open the awning. Not sure what they were doing.
I do ok backing but once in awhile need to take a couple tries, had lots of help one trip when I came in after it was dark, 2-3 neighbors moved cars, shined lights etc to help. I got the trailer in, thanked them and all was good.
I for one will get out and look 2-3 or more times to check to see what is around as the last thing I want to do is damage anything.
