Not gonna lie, I struggle backing up trailers, even though my dad was a trucker and for S & G's, as kids, he'd make us practice I never became the 'pro' (apparently backing up trailers is not part of DNA????)
Please, for my sake, keep offering help, one day it may be me and I'll gladly hop out of the pilot seat and allow you to do it. :) until then, I'll keep practicing......
Amen! I'm no expert at backup up with trailers either, and the short trailer behind my short wheelbase Wrangler is impossible. The other day I used it to haul a load of trash to the dump and was struggling trying to back it in when the guy working the dump offered to do it for me. I was out of the Jeep holding the door for him to get in before he finished offering! He backed it in right where he wanted me to dump the load. I suspect he was surprised that anyone would allow him to drive their vehicle but I sure was glad he offered.
Never be hesitant to ask. Fellow campers may be reluctant to ask, but they're generally glad to help. Meeting the neighbors is part of the fun
