I learned from my Dad a long time ago when trying to back a utility trailer through a barn door at a little 13 acre weekend "farm" we had for horses. You just hold the steering wheel on the bottom half. If you want the back of the trailer to go left, move your hand to the left, and vice versa. Its easier if you don't think about it.
In a CG, I offer once. If they don't want help I grab a lawn chair and a beer, sit next to my MH and watch. Cheap entertainment. Pride goeth before the crunch.
