I have a story from a slightly different viewpoint. About 5 years ago we were setting up camp after a fairly tricky jackknife maneuver to get our then PT into a site with a very narrow road lined with trees. Made in after a few stabs at it & all was well until an SUV towing a pop-up stopped at the empty site next door. Out popped a couple of gals who took a look at the same situation we faced & immediately walked over to ask if I would back in their trailer!
Huh? Not even willing to try? I was so surprised I dumbly agreed & soon found myself sitting in their unfamiliar car jammed up against the steering wheel (too much******behind to move the seat back), trying to see out of one dinky poorly-adjusted side mirror (no visibility out the back window), & their mutt growling at me from the back seat! Somehow I managed to get their trailer spotted - in front of several spectators - and beat feet back to my site.
Not much more was said other than a few "Thank you's" which sounded suspiciously insincere like that wasn't the first time this trick has been deployed. Took the missus most of the weekend to get me off my "if you can't handle an RV you shouldn't be towing one" soapbox.
