Your arrogance is just plain rude. I hope the next time you get in a jam and your ego takes over just long enough to realize you're in trouble that karma takes over. What goes around comes around. Hope I never have the displeasure of camping near you.
You forgot that there was an arrogant man first who stated "are ya'll going to help us". I see no problem not helping someone who: 1) declines your assistance when first offered; and then 2) gets in a huff because you don't offer again.
Had the first guy simply come over and said "gee, I guess I screwed that up. Could you give me a hand?", I suspect swamprat would have had a different response.
I also suspect that had swamprat gone over again to help and was rebuffed, you'd tell him he was rude for going back over.
