Double huffys-that's a first for that expression-love it!
So, acting like a 5 year old, saying nanner nanner nanner and taking your ball away because you won't play my rules is acceptable? Not in my book. No need to be rude to anyone. This world would be a much better place if the "I told you so" 'tudes were kept in check.
You forgot that there was an arrogant man first who stated "are ya'll going to help us".
So what? There isn't anyone on here who in a moment of frustration hasn't been snarky. Many of us are lucky to still be MARRIED after trying to navigate as a team into a small spot! :B Be the bigger person and forgive someone else's transgressions. You might even feel better for it.
Normally, I agree with you. But in this case, I don't see Swamprat having been arrogant and egotistical as you have pictured him to be. In this case, the other guy assumed that Swamprat was supposed to inherently know when his help was needed. Had he just asked for help instead, the outcome would have been very different - but instead, he got mad at Swamprat for not helping AFTER he told Swamprat not to help.
While I believe that many people snap in frustration, most will quickly dissolve that attitude into a bit of humility when they realize maybe they did need that help after all. When they won't make any sign that their attitude was excessive, but continue on in that vein, then it's only going to get worse if you stick around.
