I have noticed the same thing in most of these RANT type of threads and didn't want to bring it up.......
Is because it is not as crowded here or are we more laid back out here and more polite or thoughtful of others.
Or that we have a more year round camping season out here and don't get that cabin fever thing going on and have to RANT when we cant camp.
After all it is 70 degrees today and I will be heading out........
I think it's relative to the amount of open space available equating to an increased importance in personal space. It shows up on the roads here in the northeast as well; for example, putting on your blinker will usually cause the driver in that lane to speed up to try and close up the gap. Therefore you learn not to use your blinker - it's a sign of weakness.
Whenever someone from around here goes to the west or midwest, the usual observation is "Everyone's so nice out there", when in reality everyone around here is an ass.
