We have camped for over 30 years and have had very few issues with others. Unsupervised kids worry me... occupational hazard. I do hate it when it is so loud that I can't sleep - oh wait, that is almost always DH snoring. I guess the poster did not mean that kind of noise. Fortunately I am pretty sure he is not loud enough to be heard at other campsites.
