Odd comments

As a greenhorn youngster playing with my first car many years ago I had a mechanic tell me that I had bought a good car because all the tire valve stems were lined up and rotated in unison. LOL

That "just stole it" comment reminds me of something that may someday get my wise butt in trouble.

Usually when one of the credit cards don't work I mumble something like, "That is odd, I just stole it this morning". :W

LOL, I love saying wise crack things back in situations :)

I remember one time when we had a flat on the kid's bike and hubby was taking if off the rack---a person walking their dog says 'that stinks, a flat right off the bat on arriving' and hubby says 'man if I saw this on this bike I stole off someone's yard on the way down had a flat, I wouldn't have taken it!' then he mumbles the 'only kidding' after he gets the weird look!!

Every time my father wrote a check and handed it to the business person he would say " if this is no good I will write another one just like it".

While traveling in my Winnebago 35Ft gasser just south of Branson Mo a lady in a Walmart parking lot asked me where I was going - I replied Branson to which she asked "Who are you" - Never even thought my MH looked like a tour bus.

Gal in a BMW fueled her car and came inside the gas station to pay. The surly old woman at the till rang up the sale, and then tells her, while wagging her finger, that she filled up too soon. "If you wait and buy more than five gallons, you'd get a dollar off the car wash. Next time, you'll know better!" The customer replied -- it's a BMW, pretty sure I can swing the dollar.

Neighbor came to see our new tt when we brought it home. She commented how homey it looked with the "real "looking" appliances. She was shocked when I told her they actually were "real"

We often get asked if the top pops up on our trailer or if we can stand up inside (DH is 6'2").

when at Walmart when I pay I tell them I just printed the money on Kmart paper that the walmart paper the ink runs some.Its funny the looks.
or go to a restaurant they ask how many I tell them 50 more are coming off the bus
