I think people with kids and people who've started camping in tents are more comfortable with a CG shower.
Folks who started with an RV with a good bathroom don't. Now there of course exceptions to any general statement.
My wife loves long showers - and even though the new rig has a nice sized shower, it is 6 inches less width and depth than our home shower. And the RV shower has a corner cut off. So it is 'smaller'.
I also enjoy a nice long shower occasionally in a spacious CG shower.
But I'd rather shower where I don't have to wear shower shoes in the rig whenever possible.
Other topic - blue boy - I'd never unhook, drive to the dump and go back.
