Wow, you heating with gas or electricity?? There is a reason for the water shut off on the shower head.
I was out with My wife and her girl friend, we all took showers one right after another on a 6 gallon tank (using gas). I was the last, and had no lack of hot water. New 5er has a 10 gallon tank, should never be a problem!!
