Old Good Tires?

I bought and rv from 89 that was rarely used. Tires look like new. f78-15st st205/75d15. After all these years if well kept - would they have degraded in any way structurally?

I read often that you should replace the Trailer tires after about 5 years, regardless of wear. I tend to agree.
  • My 7 year old C came with tires that LOOKED perfectly good.
They weren't. One threw a tread after about 500 miles.....but it still held air.

    Replace them.

They don't have to break your budget either; shop around.
I got Kelly's at a truck tire dealer for $150 each....installed. Plus tax, of course.
  • Definitely replace the old tires.
Tires are not cheap but, they are cheap insurance.
Buy new tires and enjoy your travels.
