Old Good Tires?
I bought and rv from 89 that was rarely used. Tires look like new. f78-15st st205/75d15. After all these years if well kept - would they have degraded in any way structurally?

- I had a guy look at my one of my tires and say: "do you know how old that tire is?" I said no?
He said that tire is 14 years old!!!! "I said cool, it must be a good one then hu?" The look on his face was priceless!!! :B
True story. That tire went bald a year later and was replaced. It was a Good Year and I wish I could get a set just like it. - Replace tires every 5 years regardless of condition or miles. No such thing as a good 'old' tire.
- That's right... We in the industry call it the "first in, first out" (FIFO) inventory system
- Whatever Ben, all you got to do is ship the oldest one first.
- Re-read the article...tire OEMs do NOT want this legislation...which
would remove old tires both from the road and STOCKROOMS
The tire OEMs would now have to manage their 'stock' as would any
other 'perishable' commodity would. Meaning that they would have
to project build quantities much more accurately and for regions
