I was able to be on-call and do most anything, as long as I had internet. I also had the hotspot feature on my phone enabled, and that usually would work if there was not wifi available.
The best one was when I was skiing with the family and I got "the call." At the time, the only place I could get decent hotspot coverage was at the top of our little old ski hill...... So, up the chairlift I went with my laptop in a backpack, connected to my hotspot and downloaded what I needed. Back down to work on it and then back up the chairlift to send it back to the user... All in about 35 minutes...
Since I worked for a law firm, you know 35 minutes rounds UP to 60 minutes!!!
