My wife still consults with clients when we vacation, but remoting in makes this easy. Recently upgraded to a iPad with cellular connection for this purpose.
Campground wifi was not really reliable enough but I use it when I can including wifi calling when no cellular. If off-grid for more than 48 hours I am seeking out to connect including a payphone if needed.
