I still have to take an on-call rotation every 90 days or so. Beats the heck out of doing it once every month though.
Yes, when we go up to our seasonal I have to drag my laptop and VPN token with me and hope that CenturyLink's DSL stays up.
Too much of my job involves hands-on, doing deploys and the occasional printer call. In the next year we are going to a managed print solution with another printer company and their techs will be onsite. That'll reduce me down to about a 50% requirement to come in and I plan to work from home when the boss lets me.
