On Call for Work While Camping

Anyone else here had to be on call while camping and did it affect your routine?

I work in IT as well and have the same issue. I am the only IT person so I am basically on call at all times. I usually use my iPhone as a hotspot to VPN into our network. WiFi at RV parks are spotty at best. It can definitely affect your routine if you keep getting called during your trip. I guess it's the nature of the beast in our line of work. I actually took a week off in May and the wife and I took a cruise. No internet and it was great to know that for a week I could leave work at work!
