Yep, IT as well. Short trips (3 or 4 days) where I might get a call, usually not a big deal to me. Planned trips with family - I hate the calls. They ruin what is supposed to be a vacation. I know the camping spots where I'll have wifi and those that don't have wifi. Between work and grown up kids who won't stop texting their mother, I prefer spots with absolutely no cell coverage now.
My issue has been, although I'm not front line support, I have to deal with the issues the others cannot. I think we've finally hired someone who can do most of what I do at the office. Looking forward to my next vacation, as long as my wife doesn't get texts from the kids.
