Quite true but it seems like these kinds still post as full-timers!

Doesn't the fit the definition of "Full Timer"? Homeless or not, just the really wrong think to do!! Not a knock on Full Timers, that is my plan in a couple of years!

I hauled full tanks home last spring over Santiam Pass in Oregon 4,800'+ , because there wasn't a handy dump station, took it to CW later that week. I also hauled full tanks home from the Coast once, because the weather was so nasty, heavy rain and strong winds. Another trip to CW. :B
  • I agree, I don't think this will reflect on RVers. As said, this family was thought to be homeless. I hope that the family were educated on proper disposal and where it can be done. I would not think that the family were intentionally contaminating the river, they just did not know any better.

What makes this worse, is that at the bottom of that article it lists a whole bunch of places where there are free dump sites.
  • Thanks for sharing but, I don't think it makes us look bad just because we're RVers.

There have been Priests, Police Officers, FBI Agents, Fire Fighters, School Teachers, Military Members, etc., etc. arrested and sent to prison for various crimes.

I don't think it makes everyone in these positions look bad.

I think it's like the title of your post. it's, "One Bad Apple",

Do you know if there was any action taken against the offender?
