I run them in and out several times in the storage yard on battery alone. I installed a total battery disconnect switch so it doesn't discharge in storage, almost never sits more than a month without being used. - memgroveExplorerFor us it depends on the weekend.
In a campground with electric then it does not matter what order we do it in because the converter will replenish the batteries in no time after plugging in.
But if we are on a boondocking weekend we will leave the truck hooked up and running while setting up so the electric jacks and slides run off the truck as much as possible in an attempt to reserve as much trailer batteries as possible. - powderman426ExplorerI always run them while hooked up or with truck running. - Luke_PorterExplorerAnd your 110 shore power will run the slides via the converter.
- ReneeGExplorerSlide outs are designed to work off your batteries. If after camping you're batteries are low, plug into your truck and with it running, bring your slides in.
- moose888ExplorerI use my batteries from the coach no problems.
Dynamax 350 SL - trucker495ExplorerHi Steve, my slide works fine on the trailer battery.
that is assuming you have a good battery.
kyle - Luke_PorterExplorerThe battery should do it.
