Great First trip! Glad you had fun.
We are on the MD / PA line and will winterize soon.
Last year we made the mistake of listening to the weather man when we decided to go north for a Thanksgiving camping trip at our daughters place near Rochester NY. Winterization was no big deal - it was done before we left home and I took 4 gallons of pink stuff along with us. Set up in the CG and flushed out the antifreeze and camped. Then winterized again when we packed up to head home.
Williamsburg should be fine for Thanksgiving. Not like our trip: The only issue we had that trip was the temp went about 20 degrees colder than expected one night (went to 7, instead of 28 to 30 as forecast) and the heat could barely keep up. In the middle of that coldest night, I was up opening covers to let warm air get in around the plumbing which froze anyway just to the point it stopped flowing - heater ran for about 8 hrs straight and barely held 45 degrees inside -- by 7 AM the sun was heating us up and all was good again and no damage, thankfully.
We have been to the Williamsburg KOA many times, since our kids (us too!) amusement park of choice has always been Busch Gardens - we do camping / rollercoaster trips often.
