sorry you had a disappointing weekend. it's just the roll of the dice nowadays, and most of it has to do with the simple fact that there are more people camping and more people doing everything else, too.
if we didn't have a fur kid we love, we'd be happy to camp where there are no dogs or cats, and since we don't have little kids anymore, we'd be happy to camp where there are no kids. and we love boondocking where there are no other people at all. lol
but I like taking the dog with us and I like taking my granddaughter with us, too, so I'm willing to chance the occasional bad neighbor camper.
but again, I feel your pain. it's always a bummer to look forward to some peace and quiet and get a lot of rancorous noise.
